Estudio de la relación entre la diferenciación del self, la inteligencia emocional y la autoestima

RESUMEN
Este estudio analiza la relación entre la diferenciación del self, las metacogniciones sobre la preocupación y la ansiedad estado y rasgo.
La investigación contó con 384 participantes españoles, con edades comprendidas entre los 18 y los 89 años, que respondieron a la Differentiation of Self Scale-Revised (DSS-R), el Metacognitions Questionnaire-30 (MCQ-30) y al Inventario de Ansiedad Estado-Rasgo (STAI).
Los resultados mostraron relaciones significativas entre la diferenciación del self, las metacogniciones sobre la preocupación y la ansiedad estado y rasgo. Asimismo, la reactividad emocional, el dominio de los otros y el corte emocional predijeron las metacogniciones sobre la preocupación, y la reactividad emocional y la fusión con los otros predijeron la ansiedad rasgo.
ABSTRACT
In the present study, the relationship between differentiation of self, metacognitions about worry, and state and trait anxiety is analyzed.
The research involved 384 Spanish participants, aged between 18 and 89 years, who answered the Differentiation of Self Scale-Revised (DSS-R), the Metacognitions Questionnaire (MCQ-30) and the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI).
The results showed significant relationships between differentiation of self, metacognitions about worry, and state and trait anxiety. Likewise, emotional reactivity, dominance over others and emotional cutoff predicted metacognitions about worry, and emotional reactivity and fusion with others predicted trait anxiety.
